Character & Space is a 4-week course designed to unleash your imagination and expand your creative range. You'll discover how simple, playful choices with your voice, body, and mindset can bring memorable, multi-dimensional characters to life instantly—without the stress of overthinking. In addition to building bold personas, you’ll master the art of using space to transform an empty stage into a vibrant, believable physical world, giving your scenes rich context, clear environment details, and endless room for hilarious possibilities. Week 1: Character POV Discover how a character's core worldview instantly creates distinct, fun personalities and unique scene dynamics. Week 2: Character Physicality Learn how simple changes in posture, movement, and vocal choices can unlock bold, surprising characters effortlessly. Week 3: Giving Gifts & Justification Master the skill of bestowing fun traits onto your partners and seamlessly making sense of sudden, unexpected choices. Week 4: Using Space Transform empty stage space into detailed, believable environments using active spatial reality.
